abendromen “...each piece slowly progresses, no fast sequences, hard edges, or sharp corners to be found anywhere. Even though each piece exists as a succinct vignette of a singular idea, each is long enough at ten minutes to provide an immersive experience, and taken all together provides almost five hours of dreamy, ever-shifting atmospheres and textures.”

about

when i am not writing "structured" music i create extended ambient sonic landscapes to help slow my brain and heart rate down. my albums have included hints of this kind of compositional approach but because i create so much of this music, and because i find it useful in my life (both as a way to emotionally process things and as a way to create some stillness in a busy life), i decided to gather my favorite pieces of this style into a collection...well, actually four collections. each album centers around one of the four elements, and each contains seven 10 minute pieces inspired by the natural world. i hope the music helps you find your center...or helps you simply get lost for a while.
